Draycir, the business software development company, has been nominated for Software Vendor of the Year – a new Software Satisfaction Award judged by a panel of highly respected industry commentators.
Only one of four companies nominated for the award, Draycir now goes up against HansaWorld, Pegasus and Salesforce. The winner in this category, alongside other Software Satisfaction Award winners will be announced on 8 October 2009.
Software Vendor of the Year and Newcomer of the Year are the only two judged award categories. All other Software Satisfaction Awards are based on the views of genuine buyers and end-users of business software applications. Spindle Professional, Draycir’s paperless office software has been shortlisted in the Paperless Office Software category.

The Software Vendor of the Year award recognises the business software vendor that has done most to satisfy the needs of its customers. In choosing its shortlist, the judges looked for innovation, engagement with customers, thought leadership, and the application of best practice across the business.
The judging panel included Jairo Rojas, chief executive of BASDA, elearning expert Don Taylor, BusinessCloud9.com editor and MyCustomer.com technology editor Stuart Lauchlan and John Stokdyk, technology editor for Sift Media.
In announcing the nominees, the judges’ commended Draycir for its timely product innovations such as Credit Guardian, implementation of Microsoft SharePoint within Spindle Professional and Credit Hound, an application whose time has patently come during 2008-09.
